Houve uma batida na porta. Era Arvee, um membro da equipe de Punta Bulata, informando que o barco havia acabado de chegar, preparado para nos buscar.
“Você tem certeza de que é livre de riscos agora?” A chuva parecia estar ficando mais pesada e as ondas mais fortes. Honestamente, meus dois amigos Celine e Ronnie, assim como eu estava tendo pensamentos. Não tínhamos certeza se desejávamos enfrentar a chuva e as ondas para ir para a ilha de Danjugan. No entanto, imaginamos que as 4 horas de tempo de viagem de Bacolod para Cauayan ficariam inúteis se selecionarmos para não pressionar com nossa faixa do dia. No entanto, como seria, sentiríamos muita falta se tivéssemos selecionado o contrário. Nosso Go to Danjugan Island foi o destaque e a parte mais inesquecível de nossa viagem ocidental de Negros.

Chegando à Ilha Danjugan
Fomos recebidos por um dos barqueiros, Kuya Allan, enquanto subimos no barco. Apesar das ondas em risco, Kuya Allan foi positiva, era livre de riscos viajar para a ilha de Danjugan. Nós nos sentimos confortáveis no barco quando começamos nossa viagem à Reserva Marinha. A viagem de barco por si só seria a mais inesquecível. Foi louco !!! Parecia que o mar estava brincando conosco. As ondas eram poderosas e muitas vezes acreditávamos que nosso barco ficaria. Estávamos gritando na maioria das vezes. Os barqueiros estavam cuidando muito de nós, no entanto, não podiam ajudar a rir exatamente de como reagimos a todas as ondas enormes que dariam um tapa no nosso barco (e muitas vezes, nossos rostos).
Logo, nosso medo acabou sendo divertido, assim como começamos a pedir mais ondas maiores e mais fortes. A viagem de barco foi como uma atração em um parque de estilo. mova -se sobre o reino encantado; Isso foi muito melhor do que as âncoras.

Benj foi extremamente amigável, acolhedor e incrivelmente engraçado – o que você deseja no seu guia. Para nossa surpresa, éramos os únicos turistas na época. Os únicos seres humanos na ilha éramos nós e alguns funcionários da ilha. Era como se alugássemos a ilha inteira naquele dia! Era como se tivéssemos por um dia!
Todo turista que gosta da ilha precisa ir a um breve briefing. Benj discutiu a história da ilha, além de sua incrível e diversificada vida selvagem. Ele também nos informou rapidamente em nosso itinerário naquele dia.

Há uma praia na ilha onde você descobrirá algumas “casas de lama”. É aqui que os convidados que desejam passar a noite na ilha ficam. Eles cumprem um princípio “de volta ao básico” aqui, para que as casas fiquem realmente nuas.
Visitamos o local, mesmo que não estivéssemos durante a noite. Para chegar aqui, fizemos uma curta viagem de barco liderada por Kuya Allan (nosso barqueiro), além de cumprir uma trilha de bambu. A localização foi fantástica; Tinha uma vista fantástica. A partir daqui, vimos a lendária árvore (que foi ameaçada de ser derrubada pelos ex -habitantes até que a ilha foi tratada por prrcfi), bem como pelos Eagles que moravam lá.

Pouco antes de pularmos no barco, encontramos uma enorme cobra marinha. Eu já tinha visto cobras do mar antes, no entanto, não é tão grande. Estava escondido sob uma pedra na costa, movendo -se lentamente.

I had seen so many bright blue sea stars in Bohol (we called them woman Gaga sea stars) however I had never seen them this huge.
Looking at the reefs was like visual masturbation. It was so inviting, like the marine creatures were inviting me to online with them. There was just an explosion of colors beneath the water surface as well as they were all alive.
We saw a number of giant clams. as well as they were bright blue. We saw blue-and-yellow-striped fish. We saw corals that appeared like they were radiating neon lights. We saw pink this, red that. It was like I even saw colors I didn’t understand existed before.

After tiring yet worthwhile hours of snorkeling, Benj invited to head back to the shore for lunch. They served squash soup, poultry adobo (but sweeter than the usual), an eggplant meal we didn’t catch the name of, a fish dish, as well as mangoes for dessert. We had always believed we were gluttons however the food was just as well much even for us. The advantages of being the only guests on the island that time.
We left the fish meal almost untouched ‘coz all of us felt a bit uncomfortable having fish for lunch when we just had mingled with vibrant fish minutes before.

After the sumptuous meal, it was time for kayaking! Although the island only had four kayaks, each of us was able to get one since we were the only guests. Hora de declarar adeus
It was heartbreaking to leave Danjugan Island. We hated the concept that we might only stay at the island for so long since we had other products on our itinerary as well as our flight was on the next day. We signed on the island’s Visitor’s Logbook as well as left messages for those who handle the island as well as expressed our gratitude for the wonderful time we had.
We didn’t see the black tips. We didn’t see the turtles. Still, there’s no rejecting that the island is brimming with life. phone call it poor timing. Blame it on the weather. however none of us left that island with a dampened heart. The environment may be bleak that day however the island as well as our spirit stayed vibrant.

How to get there: From Bacolod, take the Ceres Bus to Hinoba-an as well as get off at Brgy. Cartagena in Cauayan (just before you go into Sipalay City). Take a habal-habal to Bulata.
